Brake Pads

Hi,

I have a 2000 Savage with about 4000km . The front disk brake alredy beginning to squeal/slip on slow stops. I've cleant the disk to make sure there is no dirt in it, but no help. I think either the brake pads are dirty (probably grease). How easy is it to replace the brake pads myself or should I get it done by a professional. Where can I find instructions on how to change them without damaging anything ?
